This Moodle course is for anyone in the FDLRS Network who wants to learn more about assistive technology; however, it was created specifically for providing professional development for the FDLRS Technology Specialists.
This course was developed from and depends heavily upon the Assistive Technology Internet Modules (ATIM), developed by the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI). ATIM was developed with partnering universities and nationally renowned experts in the field and provides quality information and professional development on assistive technology (AT) for educators, professionals, families, and persons with disabilities. The ATIM modules are available at no cost and guide learners through case studies, instructional videos, pre- and post-assessments, and more.
This eFDLRS Moodle course will facilitate a group online study on assistive technology for the FDLRS network and Technology Function, providing one venue for participating in activities, submitting tasks, and receiving a Certificate of Completion for 20 in-service points.
